Well I have almost finished all my Easter cards and stuff. Just down to the final gift bags...hurrah, you can get a bit fed up of making the same event cards after about the eighth!
More to the point it's HobbyCraft and Miniaturer next week at the NEC. sadly I won't be attending Miniaturer but I will be going HobbyCraft and staying overnight woo hoo! So all concentration on that now for inspiration and I need to find a very good hiding place for my bank card!!
I have attached a couple of cards, this first one is for a female friend. It is part freebie papers, part Hunkydory kit which I broke down and just stuff from my crafty stash. Initially I had made a different card for my Mum but then fearing it wasn't up to scratch for her taste I made this one, believing it to be more pretty. Until she saw the one I had made in the first place unbeknown to her it was originally for her and she commented on how she liked it! Mothers!!
The second is for a male friend. I find it hard to create Easter cards for men, my Uncle isn't too bad as he doesn't really care what it looks like! But I was pleased with the result seeing as it took hardly any time at all. I designed it on the Craft Artist, printed it out, layered up the components and embellished with glaze and Bakers Twine.
Off to write wish list for next Friday! :)
